Research interests
I have been working in the Sainsbury Laboratory since my appointment with Jonathan Jones in 1997 as laboratory technician. Although I had transformed Arabidopsis and potato in my previous job at Rothamsted, it was during my time with Jonathan that I cut my teeth, so to speak, in plant transformation and over the years have become familiar with the methods for the transformation of around 10 different plant species.
