The Sainsbury Laboratory Council
The Sainsbury Laboratory is advised by a Council consisting of representatives of the original joint venturers - The Gatsby Charitable Foundation, University of East Anglia, BBSRC and the John Innes Council, together with the senior scientists of the Laboratory, three international scientific advisors and a businessman with scientific experience. Some members of the Council also serve as Directors of the Company. The Council is required to report to Gatsby on the quality and value for money of the science conducted by the Laboratory.
